Fastest growing on-demand services

TheStartup100 is now tracking growth signals for a list of 61 US on-demand services startups.

One of the best publicly available growth signals for these mobile-centric companies is app reviews, which serve as a good proxy for app installs - not perfect, but good.

Here are the top 12 on-demand startups ranked by number of new reviews in June. A couple comments:

• iTunes only, Google Play coming soon
• New review counts are used instead of a growth percentage because percentages tend to be misleading for low review counts.

Comments:

• Lyft's new review count compares more favorably to Uber than I would have expected.
• Favor is a local delivery service similar to Postmates. Favor is currently operating in seven cities with four more coming soon. Favor just raised $13MM in March and looks like a company that will be raising more money soon.

• Washio is an on-demand laundry service like Flycleaners, Cleanly, and Rinse. Washed has raised $17M with its last round in June, 2014.
• Luxe and ZIRX are two heavily funded valet parking services that seem to be gaining traction.
